I also offer instant film (Instax Wide and Instax Mini) photography, custom and collaborative projects, and limited event coverage focused on atmosphere, connection, and in-between moments rather than posed or traditional documentation.

Oathbound Film is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and regularly serves Santa Fe, Los Ranchos, Corrales, Taos, and destinations throughout Northern and Central New Mexico.

I’m also available for select travel outside of New Mexico, including the Southwest and Western U.S., such as Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Texas and California, depending on the project and schedule.

Travel beyond the local area may include additional fees.

It depends on the celebration. Oathbound Film is best suited as a secondary wedding photographer, working alongside a primary digital photographer to capture texture, atmosphere, and in-between moments on film.

For elopements, courthouse weddings, and smaller daytime celebrations, I can serve as the primary photographer when the pace and lighting align with a film-based approach. If you’re looking for full-day coverage, flash-heavy reception photography, or highly staged images, I’m likely not the best fit — and I believe that clarity serves everyone better.

Oathbound Film photographers shoots film only. All images are captured on analog 35mm film, with select instant film used for physical prints. I do not offer digital-only coverage.

Working exclusively with film allows the work to stay intentional, tactile, and rooted in presence rather than volume or speed.

Oathbound Film Photography works exclusively with available light and does not use flash. Film performs best in natural and ambient light, and honoring that limitation is part of the work.

I typically do not photograph after sunset. Coverage is designed around daylight and early evening conditions to preserve the natural look and feel of analog film photography.

I offer light guidance when it helps, but I don’t rely on formal posing or shot lists. Most sessions and events are documented as they unfold, with small prompts or adjustments to keep things relaxed and natural.

You don’t need to know how to pose — the focus is on comfort, movement, and connection rather than performance.

Because film is a physical medium, image counts vary based on coverage length, lighting conditions, and the pace of the day.

Each gallery is intentionally curated to reflect the strongest moments and the overall feeling of the experience rather than every frame captured.

Film is developed and scanned by a professional lab, so turnaround times vary by season and volume. Most galleries are delivered within 6–10 weeks.

Instant film prints are typically mailed after the event or session. In some cases, a few instant prints may be provided the day of. Any remaining instant images are scanned and included with your gallery before the physical prints are sent.

Yes. Additional hours and additional film coverage may be available depending on the date, schedule, and lighting conditions. Film quantities are intentionally limited by default, but can often be expanded by request.

If you think you may want extended coverage or additional film, it’s best to mention it early so we can plan accordingly.
